This is so important!
I never know what to ask and end up looking like a fool cause I don’t have a question prepared.
Don’t be me.
Happy birthday #starcraft ! All workers get party hats this week lol also cool fourth anniversary portraits!
I know you are a fan of DW like I am, so I thought, why not make a TARDIS tarot spread? It could be used to help illuminate who you are or just give general insight? This is my first ever spread so i would love feedback.
Card 1 - Who you are. this card shows what you have to say about yourself. Are you a police box? This is how you find out.
Card 2 and Card 3 - The windows. These cards are to give separate insights into whatever you want to know about. They are tied into the card drawn for you as they help support it.
Card 4 - What pushes you or your issue. The Doctor always pushes the door, so this card is all about what the driving force is.
Card 5 - What pulls you or your issue. It asks what idea is important to you now. This can also be seen as the compliment to Card 4.
Card 6 and Card 7 - The base and foundation. In terms of reading for a person, this could be grounding principles or things truly important to them. If reading for a problem, these cards can often show the root of your problem and how to fix it.
Card 8 - Guiding light - This card is all about where to go from here. The light in the void, this card is all about where to put your energy to get the desired result.
OPTIONAL Card 9 - Your core entity. The core of the TARDIS is the doctors wife, so this card is all about who is supporting you and who is most important in your life. Whatever card drawn should have a tie into whatever person, entity or even general thing you value most. It can also symbolize a more silent supporter, so do not fear if there is no immediate connection.
I personally have read for both people and problems with this spread and it has worked for both. Reading for a problem had a more focused result for me, so i would recommend that over personal. Reading for personal guidance gave me an answer that was slightly difficult to understand until the time of question had passed.
For all my kitchen witches.
This is all super important to know even if you don’t cook/bake, because one time I confused teaspoon and tablespoon when taking medication with codeine and passed out on the couch for 14 hours.
Or you could just learn to count by fucking 10 and use the metric system. Which doesn’t need a complicated ass chart to remember/understand.
I’m pretty sure that we tried that once in the 80’s and it was met with so much resistance that it just didn’t happen. In the meantime, please appreciate the very neat graphic made with the Imperial system which curiously resembles the Tree of Life in Kabballah… which is the primary reason why I posted this in the first place.
